V: friend of mine, good solid reg.

Hero: reg on a **** downswing, been seen to loose everything I play this month by V, otherwise good player.

V opens to £4 from UTG, folds round to me in the BB, I call with 88.

Flop 764r

I check, V bets £6, hero???

My views are;

Fold - can't fold, we have an overpair and a gutshot.

Call - although calling keeps his bluffs in his range he's not trying to get too out of line with me and won't go crazy trying to bluff me out of the hand.

Raise - makes all his overpair hands tough to play, which makes up maybe 85% of his range. Does fold out all worse value hands and lands me in some gross spots when 3bet.

thoughts?

Addition.

call - 75% of turns are very difficult for us to play OOP.

Raise - can end the hand now and get him to fold all of his overcards, which make up about 80-85% of his range
