$500 eff. My image: young TAG. V is a middle-aged white-collar professional Asian. Certainly a fish but been running good. Plays way too many hands. Stations at least 2 streets with unimproved AK or AQ as many fish do. Absolutely amazing at getting the absolute minimum value from his monsters (check-check-bet-1/5-pot, why u guys no bet?!) Randomly bluffs sometimes but not very often (his bluffs make no sense, he just decides to "buy it" in his words sometimes). Has been talking about kids baseball league or some BS on the phone for the last 30 mins (unfortunately allowed). Straddles every UTG. Calls 75% of raises of his straddle. Does have a fold button though. Seems well off and not care about money.

Folds to me in MP2, I look down at QQ and make it $25. Folds to V in CO who flats. Everyone else folds.

Flop: AA7r Pot ~$60

Let's make this a little open-ended and hopefully more interesting. Action's on you. What's your plan for the hand? What are you doing on the flop and what's your line for turn and river? And perhaps most importantly, why?

Check flop, check turn, check river. Fold to vill's first bet.

I don't think your rec-fish vill even knows you're a young TAG. He obviously hasn't been paying attention here. These rec-fish will call any ace regardless. You've given him enough of your money here. Wait for a better opportunity, which is sure to come along, and probably soon. Better to have position on him anyway, so seat change to get on his left.

I'm checking the flop...if you had an A probably wouldn't be betting the flop. Probably can get 2 streets of value from a lower pocket pair or if he hits a pair on the turn. Bet turn...bet river....

I'd check flop with intention of calling a "normal" bet. I'd have to re-evaluate turn based on read at table. This is such a great flop for him to take a stab at if you check. Are his bluffs double and triple barrels?

I don't think it matters much EV wise whether you c/c flop or bet flop

If I bet the flop I'd bet bigish like $40 to get value from all his PP and 7x, and then bet smaller OTT and OTR since he's stationy and will have a hard time folding after he invests a lot of money on earlier streets. It is hard to get 3 streets of value in this spot but against a station, its definitely possible

If I c/c flop its because I expect him to stab with his air and value bet his bigger pairs and protect his equity with his smaller pairs; I'd also be leading the turn and river for value because I don't expect him to barrel off with his air

What Duke said basically. I probably bet flop $40 and then bet $25-50 on turn and river. This guy will not raise unless he has you beat 99% of the time, and if you bet too big he will find the fold button. If he flopped it you will find out on flop or turn. I think checking the flop is good sometimes as well, but I don't want to give him the lead or a free card to beat me (with KJ or 88 or whatever) when he would have called my bet with worse and I miss value.

SOOOOO, after years of trying to play a very aggressive game and use bet sizing that is optimal, I've learned that stations will station small bets and only raise with big hands since YOU could have the A. Get some small value out of your big pair and fold to almost any raise. Sometimes he calls you with the A but I think longterm a BBB line (with smaller sizing on turn and river) is optimal here.

What do you guys think of bet/bet/check-fold line (and of course folding to any raise along the way)?

I see him stationing at least 1 street (maybe 2) with lower PPs but not the third. Thing here is.... he's much more likely to have lower PPs than Ax. So his range is skewed to a range that will give us value... so it's not really a WAWB.. so we should be trying to extract value and then the question is how and how much... more specifically on what streets? Right?

Bet/bet/check fold is ok

I would definitely still go for thin value OTR though. You can get called for 3 streets by JJ-88
