(2/5 game) tag recreational players 3b the button to 220 after initial +2 raises to 25 and one caller. I wake up with KK on BB. Me and villain are both 400 BB effective. What to do? 4b and call any shove, 4b and revaluate, 4b fold to shove? I decided to flat and get in on any flop with no A or Q. Flop rainbow dry board. I check, he checks. A ott, I check, he checks. 5 on river no draw. I value bet 1/3 pot. He calls with QQ. I win. Later he told me he was willing to get it in pre. What would yall have done?

He's only been here for an hr, catching cards and running good. The very first hand he called a 3b by me CO, he limped UG with a10dd against me and called. Where I folded to a river all in 101054 board. He's lose, but he was also folding a lot of hands. The 3 or so hand he did play, he just got really lucky for big pots. So it was kinda hard to determine if his x44 3b range was AA only, or maybe AKplus, JJ,QQ

Flat is generally ok deep, but if our stated goal is to GII postflop on favorable flops, I would lean towards the 4 bet and GII pre from the BB. Generally speaking, the more likely I am to be OOP, the more aggressive I am early in the hand.
