Moved to the main game 30 min prior with $1,000.
Villan in the BB:. Older guy. Has about 2K in front of him. Haven't seen him play too many hands so far. Looks like a Nit/rock type but haven't seen enough hands with him to be sure.

Hero has 1010 In UTG2. Straddled pot. Villan in UTG1 limps. Hero raises to 45 and gets called by the BB and the straddler. (Pot:135). Board comes out 7h5h3s. Villan donks for 135. Villan in the BB folds. Hero calls. (Pot:405). Turn is the 2d. Villan bets 300. Hero? Comments on all streets appreciated thanks.

If he's overvaluing a hand you're gonna get a chance to get it all. I just sigh lay it down vs an unknown older guy.

On this board i'm sure your going to be looking @ a lot of set + 2-pair combos don't think he is over-playing a 7x here.
Btw given his sizing it looks very strong usually... hand strength = sizing @ lower limits im also "assuming" if he had a 7x here he might half pot it generally on both streets.

What is the setup here? How can somebody be donking into you on the flop before BB acts? 3 ways it looks like it would have be BB, villain, then you. Is villain the UTG+1 or straddle? What sort of description do you have for the donking villain?

Against most combinations I'm calling flop and folding turn with my over pair against an unknown opponent. On the flop they can be testing the water with a draw or weak hand, that is less likely on the turn. Once villain bets turn your hand is reduced to a bluff catcher, your still facing another round of betting and likely to be facing an all in bet on river.

TT is the ideal shove hand for the whole $1000. Be prepare to rebuy in case disaster comes on down.

I kinda lost track of which villain is which.... but i take it that the remaining Villain is the old guy who hasnt played many hands. So he's donking flop and making a 3/4 psb on the turn. And you have a single pair??? What does he have to do... flash you his set?

Thanks for your input. Ranging the V on anything, or just making a snarky comment?
