I was at the casino last weekend and played at a 160$ buy in 9 handed table and this hand has really confused me. Since it was played in INR my buy in was 10000INR. Blinds were 2$ - 4$ (100 INR - 200 INR)
Me : UTG with QQ
I raise 3x. The guy after me flat calls , then another one after him flat calls and the button also calls. All these guys have a stack of around 600$ (36000 INR) at this point of time.
The flop comes : (2700INR) 4 of clubs - 5 of clubs - and 8 of hearts
I raise 1200 INR and then everyone flat calls except the guy at the button who re-raises to 4200 INR. So far i have not played a hand with this guy. But what i have seen is this guy gets involved in a lot of pots and re-raises the flop with draws and has a tendency to exploit his position. And since the board was inclined towards a straight and flush draw this was probably his best place to attack. Also given the fact that three people had flat called my post-flop raise of 1200 i go all in after matching his raise thinking that these guys have each others outs since they only flat called. My total investment is 10000 INR.
Everyone folds expect the button who looks uncomfortable but makes the call since his stack size is 3-4 times more and says it as well. The pot size is now 23900 INR
The turn comes - (23900INR) 7 of hearts
The river comes - (23900INR) 6 of spades
At Showdown he flips over Jack and 9 of hearts and takes away the pot.
What did i do wrong ? Or was this just a case of bad bead ?
Any feedback is appreciated.
Cheers
