One could argue pre, but def not post flop. Pretty sure he had a strong A. If you got blank blank then it sux. Gh

Once you raise the flop then you can't fold but with him cbetting a wet board into 3 people I may consider playing it a lot more cautious.

But you have the history with him so I don't think what you did was bad but to answer your question you could play it more cautiously

If you are on buy in number 3, you likely have little or no fold equity.
So, don't raise the flop. He won't fold any Ace. Just bink the turn and take his stack.

There's a very strong chance that you have 15 outs, so you only need a little better than 2:1 direct odds to call to make it profitable. And you're getting ~2.2:1.

Yeah, I don't like the flop raise here since V's range is weighted toward Ax as he c-bet into 4 players and Hero's image is not the greatest. I've noticed after losing 2-3 BI's that many villains tend to play back by calling or raising lighter at a greater frequency because they continue to think you are FOS since you have been losing. Once you raise the flop you have to go with it as played.

Have you been showing signs of tilting before this hand since losing 2 buy-ins? Raising here may not have been the best option if so. As played, obviously you have to get it in.
