NWI NL 1/2
Hero is at a wild table. Usually Friday afternoons are an OMC rockfest. Not today. There are 5 guys there who were playing through the night.
It's all regs there. We all know each other. Hero is considered a TAG (good) player by most in the room, but a non-gambling accountant by several others.
Hero lost his first buy in with 999 vs. straight (guy had 5/3 off) in a raised pot and I lost the rest in another hand where my BB 8

lost on a 8

board. My table image must have been as a very unlucky fellow.
Hero gets A
K
in the hijack. It folds to me. I make it $12. I have $173 behind.
Button is a party guy who's been there since Wednesday. He's usually a tricky player. Today he's in need of an IV. I've been there for an hour and his stack went from $500 to $100 with shaky play and obvious (i thought) bluffs. He calls the $12.
Small Blind is an OMDegen. If any of you guys saw him you'd think he was a rock but he's not. He always loses and appears to like it. His method is to play tight for 2 orbits and then lose his mind till he's stacked. He once told me he lost a fortune playing craps and usually leaves the table 20 minutes on the hour to go play slots. I see him when I go to the bathroom and think "what a degen!" Anyway, he shoves for his $53 remaining.
BB is a maniac. He plays 70% of his hands. He calls but does not shove.
Hero wants to see all 5 cards with AK so I go all in for $173 into a $130 pot. Did I make a mistake here?
Was this a bad move strategically?
I figured I'm definitely up against the SB's all-in range. He often does it with Q10, K10 or K9 even. There are at least 10 guys in that room that, if they were in the hand, I would not try it but against this cast of characters I thought it the best play.
