$1/$2 NL Live

V1: Older Latino guy - don't have much info as he had only been there for about an orbit or so. He did straddle and raise big after a few limpers. He showed AK.

V2: Shippy McShipperson. Had whole table chomping at the bit to get into pots with a hand against him. He is about 45-50 white guy. Wears suits to play poker. Very prim and proper. Gets in big pots quite often. He is known as a great big fish in the room as he most often ships it. Don't get me wrong though...he is dangerous in that he does lay down big bluffs; some of them very well timed and impressive. However, he gets to drinking and he tends to just do this too often and begins playing his own cards and bluff at odd spots too much and recklessly. He usually ends up building up a big stack by hurting someone and then drinks. And then ships it. We are at the end of his night.

Hero: V1 doesn't know me. V2 perceives me as good player but I don't think either of them really care about me or what I might have (at this point) to be honest.

Stacks:
V1 = $200
V2 = $400
Hero = $300

Pre-Flop:
V1 raises in MP to $8. V2 calls. Hero calls with 77 (I was thinking about 3 betting but I wanted to set mine here and get a big pot post flop with V2 if I did. I also did not want to have to fold to a 4 bet bluff which was possible at this table).
Everyone else folds...

Pot = $25

Flop: 972
V1 checks. V2 bets $20. Hero raises to $50. V1 calls. V2 calls.

Pot = $175
Turn: K

V1 checks. V2 bets $100. Hero???

It would be nice to know what hand you have here?

In this spot I'm shipping it (assuming you have 9s or 7s).

Does v2 bet out then flat flop if he already has a flush? Possibly, but only because he's led out turn. V1 is a worry, I think it's more likely he has the Ad.

You can't really call here - if they've not hit their flush yet then you don't get any value on the river if they miss and if they ship it then, considering your descriptions, it's probably a crying call.

So I raise - make the draws pay - If you're beaten you still have 10 outs, and if you're not, gii now!

Against these villains, with these descriptions, I ain't folding.

I'm assuming that we have 99 based on the possible 3bet pre flop.

If that's the case, I'm never folding. So, it's just call or raise.
Based on the action, a better set doesn't make sense for V1 or V2 to have a set here given pre flop sizing.
I think KdXd is far more likely, and sometimes QdJx, QxJd, QdTx, QxTd, JdTx, JxTd type hands that pick up a gutterball to go along with their flush draws and two overs.

Flopped flushes are less likely as I think that V2 would 3bet a lot of them on the flop after V1 calls.
I'm likely to stick it in here and go for V2s stack. Even if it does mean losing out on value from V1.

I would tank and shove, based on stack sizes those villains are probably not folding and i expect to see a lot of over pairs or overcards with a diamond.. Rarely 99 and possibly made flush of which we still have equity against.

Well played honestly.

You have 140 left. I would just ship.

Things would be interesting if you were deeper. 200x i would just call.

100% of these threads are the same.

If the flush card comes on the turn then 90% of the people say check-fold even if Villains have shown no aggression at all.

If the flush card comes on the flop 90% of the people are ready to play for stacks even if the Villains have been aggressive.

It's like our goal is to be sure that the 37% of the time that our hand improves that we have no money to bet; let's get all in before we're ahead.

^its villain dependent though. Usually when villain donks out again in this spot I think it's a fold, but against this v I think we can ship it.

OP, what happened
