Our villain is the kind of guy who will go to extreme lengths to try to win every hand. Very aggressive. Wears sunglasses. Talks a lot of trash when loses with big pocket pairs. Does crazy stuff in multiway pots that are super negative EV. You know that guy.

Loose passive player makes it 15 to go in early position and one caller. EP has suited connectors most of the time.

Hero has 99 and makes it 50 to go. Too small?
Villain calls from the small blind. EP and caller both call going 4 ways to the pot.

Flop TT8 $200
Checks to hero who bets 100 and villain makes it 200 with 300 behind.

Are you guys ok with folding in this spot given the villains image? Are you guys ok with c-betting here?

you kidding he reps nothing

Sometimes he has JJ-QQ but nothing you can do, he has pp's below 99 or A8 in his range and this is obvious (raise to see where I'm at). Shove it in his face if everybody else folds.

Why do you 3bet pre if a loose passive opens UTG?

Op please clarify your post. If SB is the one chk raising what did EP do? If ep is the one chk raising did SB flat the 100? And field caller did he fold I assume.

Also stacks and suits are generally helpful.

I'm generally not 3! Loose passives who raise from EP. I get that it's small have you correlated this small sizing?

You will get better feedback if you post cleaner hand histories.

How many Tx hands are in Vs range here? He called $50 from the SB pre flop. And if he had Tx, would he check raise min like this? A smaller pocket pair is possible. Maybe JJ or QQ but would he four bet those pre? If he would not four bet those pre, would he check raise flop here?
does he have hands like J9s in his range?

I'm ok with folding bc just calling here, even though we have position, potentially lets V improve and rep a card. J, T, 8, 7 are all scary,,and we don't love Q, K, A either.

His min raise might be a cheap way to try to take this pot from you if he thinks you have a hand like 99 or AK.

Raise --> fold --> call.

Folding is fine if you're risk adverse. Raising is probably better if you can handle variance. What hands can V have here that he would play this way? Does he really call $50 pre with stacks this size and a hand like QTs?
