Hi all,
0.2/0.5 home game. Hero is playing $70, V1 (young WG tight/nitty) $55, V2 (young Latino guy LAGgy) $30.
V2 raises MP $2.00, hero 3! AsKd to $7.50 from BTN, BB (V1) calls, V2 calls. Pot $23.00.
Flop: A-10c-2c.
Checks around. Is it terrible slowplay here? I didn't think it was. Might get looked up by lower pairs more often by checking here.
Turn: Jc. Now I want to charge club draws so hero bets $10. V1 calls. V2 folds. Pot $43.00.
River: 2d. V leads for $30. Hero?
Thanks,
DT

i dont like checking flop 3 way. checking flop HU probably fine sometimes, but i dont want to give free cards to 2 players. as played bet bigger on the turn, like 80% pot for value + protection. fold to a turn CR

Just stick with betting value otf. You gotta check the death turn whether having bet flop or not. AP river is a very easy fold.

In general, from just reading the title, no. There are few scenarios where it’d be good to check tptk otf
