Well since I run so unbelievably good, my "number" got picked 3 of the 6 times the table agreed to it, meaning I paid $162 in rake vs. the $18 I would have paid as an even table share. Needless to say, I am not a fan of that rake structure.
It's completely ev neutral... and you can always buy out (there is always someone who will take your action if you asked)

In my game, if we do draw seats for time rake, one reg will always take on the responsibility of paying the time for the whole table (he always gets exact change and have it ready when the new dealer sits down), then collect it from the seat that was actually drawn some time later without holding up the game. It takes <10 secs. When it's not time raked, regs will always make change for each other so everything's ready for the dealer.

...maybe you guys just need to step your game up

LOL @ people being surprised about (what I'm assuming is) the Parx 10/10 game. Tuesday night it's soooooo good. The must move tables are usually better than the main game too.

It's this generally true for every must move game?

Probably not since most must move games are filled with regs trying to get their seat at the main table to play with the fishy that sat down to play T-T. I guess Parx is a weird dynamic since there are 2-4 tables running, and the main game usually just starts because "it's Tuesday and people will come play"

Again, I don't play games that have must move tables so this is all stuff I've heard.

I've been told that the main game is usually just solid players and rocks because the guys who you want to play with tend to bust out on the must move tables trying to get to the main game, or if they get there they just flame out and leave.

Yeah I've always understood you'd want a must move table over a main table given that that's all the info you have at hand.

If a game only runs built around a certain whale - then the main game is best. If the game runs on a regular schedule, then typically the feeder tables are best.

Hi everybody
I am a very modest winner over the past 1000 hours maybe making $10 an hour. I have a 35k bankroll and a very low monthly nut. Where do you guys think the best place to play 2/5 and build a bankroll would be? I need to win as much as I can so that I can take a main event shot

Don't take a main event shot imo.

I have a similar theory about even "normal" LLSNL games like $1/2 or $2/5. The winning players can remain at the table indefinitely, the rocks can grind it out all day, but the drunks and donkeys will go broke fastest. So the longer a table runs the more likely it is that it fills with rocks or winners (as they stay the longest) and the less likely that I want to continue sitting there.

Ideally that means I'd table change to a better table with some more action. But in most of the rooms I play in that's not particularly easy, or it's only a marginal improvement. So instead I ask to move to any new table they're opening.

Anyone else noticed this?

It depends many times the rocks (especially at lower stakes) ime leave when they reach a certain threshold to protect their stack.

Damn, reading this thread makes me feel lucky living in UK, at least 20 casinos within an hour of where I live, reading some posts saying nearest casino is like 3-5 hours away

Also what's average buy in at 1-2 in the states? At my regular casino it is uncapped and usually very deep games, people buying in for 500-1500.

My regular 1-2 game is an organised game with similar line up every session, don't think its best for my game but it's very juicy and even though everyone is a rev doesent mean they are winners , I'd say me and my best friend are only crushes, maybe 2-3 break even-slightly winning players and rest losers

My graph for first 10 months of playing cash, 185 sessions of 1/2, 2 sessions of 2/5 , 1 session of 5/5 and 1 2/2 session.

i have a 20 hour a week job aswell, so not the worst i suppose. I stupidly didnt track my hours played until start of 2016 so don't know true hourly.

In my area

1/3 is 33-100bb
2/5 is 40-120bb or 40-160bb

5/10 is 200bb max
Beyond that everything is uncapped
