Well passed the first of many tests (1 of 11+) to come yesterday. I was really sweating it, I only had like 50 questions and needed a 80%+ to pass. Of those 50 some odd questions there were like 3-4 that were very poorly written, it was VERY obvious that the writer was not a native English speaker... But I managed to nail everything else and scored high.

I think it was AintNolimit and I asking for the pics. Should be mandatory IMO. Not even sure why we have to keep asking!!!! But hey props to you being the first one. Pics make the HH's better... Or something like that.

Funny I stopped using a HUD and my results have been way bedda than when i was using one. Go figure

A story for AcePlayerDeluxe (no pics <sigh> but it did happen):

I am playing in Tunica one night. A nice looking mid-30s female sits next to me. She is a bit tipsy, and tells me about her life. 36, recently divorced, two kids, plays poker tournaments for extra cash. Tells me she has an 18-year old daughter, which makes her even hotter in my creepy mind.
She is a decent player, but getting drunker. Her drunkenness is probably not helped by my ordering extra booze for her as the drink girls can't keep her filled. We play a couple of hours, and she is definitely +EV for me at this table in many ways. I am up a couple of buy ins, and I start rapping with her about maybe spending some time together, grabbing dinner, etc, etc.. She is interested. Me happy.
She continues drinking, and now starts racing to the bathroom between hands. She actually is standing while playing a couple of hands, and doing the 3-year-old-gotta-go-potty dance.
Finally, it happens. She gets in a big hand, lots of action, chips flying, and some long decisions. She is standing next to me and I catch an odor...a whiff..a faint scent I quickly discern to be urine. Yes, my friends. She peed her pants while in the hand.
*sigh* Racks!
I cash out. I like a dirty girl and all, but a stinky pee pants girl kills the mood for me now. Plus, she would have ruined my leather car seats.
Baddest beat I took all night. GG, bladder.

DO NOT WANT!!!!!!!!!! She would of been on your leather seats like Rick James, saying, "F**K yo leather seats!"

Does anyone post on any other forums? really what I want to know is if anyone posts on cardplayer.com?? I am just curious on thoughts about that specific forum. I used to post there but had a bad experience. When I left I told them I was coming here and they all said good luck. This was a whole nother universe. I went back and posted a hand to get some responses. I did this on my old user name and not much has changed over there. It made me realize how I may be treating some of the newer posters here. Its hard being the new guy on the block for sure. Funny thing is I am 100x the player and poster I was back then and I am still catching some flack. I used to post some pretty bad noob shyt on there. Guess guys with a mirrion posts feel a sense of entitlement and always think they are correct... Nother poker lesson learned. Noted.

I only post here. I still feel uncomfortable giving advice, as I feel like many here are worlds better than I am. But I am sticking my nose in and trying to get better and contribute something other than stories about girls and their dirty pee pants, and I know my game has improved tremendously.

Giving advice is actually going to help your game more than listenig to advice IMO. The thing is when you give advice and your wrong you'll hear about it and it will stick alot harder than it will when you just listen to it. The other side of that sword though are the guys who give advice and are way off but dont want to hear about it. Read this months COTM. I think I go over that a little bit. Lol.

Side note: Go see THE OTHER GUYS. That effin movie had me in tears because i was laughing so hard!!!

Cant remember who said it, but a good way to get feedback on your posts is to give feedback to others. The more you contribute to others posts the more they will want to contribute to yours. (may have been Kurt who said that)

I saw Dinner with the Schmucks tonight. Pretty dang funny.

I have been doing that. It helps having some really good hands lately, and I think the quality of posts has improved recently.

ya i think Kurt mentioned that he used to give some bad advice way back and learned from it. i remember because it encouraged me to continue giving bad advice as i have been ; )

Yeah, I learned a ton from posting my ideas on a hand and finding out where the holes in my thought process were. Still do.

Responding to strat threads is the only way to find your leaks. You can read something 100 times, but if you don't know if you understand it until you apply it.

On the bright side, there's nothing like a downswing to light a fire under your ass to get the hours in. Once more into the breach...
