I taught myself how to use an electric razor.

The timing of his advice was also weird, guy who literally didn’t teach me how to shave gave me a 45 minute lecture on soulmates and dies 4 days later.
The selfless love thing seems pretty big. Whole batches of people not even capable of that.

Dad taught me to shave.

Then, like 20 years later, my barber told me to only shave down, not every direction.

When I was a little boy (maybe 3-5) I would pretend to shave with my dad. I had a little plastic toy shaving kit and would just smear shaving cream all over my face and mimic my dad.

Oddly enough my lesson in shaving stopped there and when I began to grow a beard no advice was give

Last time I went to a barber my hair was being cut by this chick that was being told step by step how to cut my hair by the 2 barbers who, along with the other customer were all drinking cervezas that they would get out of the coke machine.

Since then I went to a stylist a few times but for the past 5+ years I just cut my own ****.

I know, I have gone through much of my life sincerely believing it does not exist. I have rarely met a couple I envied, I have rarely met a person that I could not trace a selfish interest to. I wouldn’t say I’m a cynic, more just someone who can read people easily and has been jaded by experience.

But she has seen me when the chips were down, when money was all but gone, job was no where in sight, talent was moot, temper was at an all time high, and she still stayed by me. She doesn’t want children, doesn’t “need” someone, she is cool, calm, and independent. I’ve never met someone as confident as her, and as caring at the same time. Not guided by religion or a mutual self interest, but by the simple idea of helping someone.

Maybe it’s my 8 inch schlong, but if not, she has restored a bit of faith in humanity for me. And that is a true miracle.

Re: ***Official "It Lives, It Lives" Chat Thread***

I bought a big screen TV just to use with the NES classic. But I got too restless waiting for the NES Classic to come out, so I bought a Raspberry Pi with all the systems on it and then when the NES Classic came out it sold out and since I had the Raspberry Pi I was pretty much like "what's the point" and I never bought an NES Classic. I've mostly played a couple SegaCD games on my Raspberry Pi: Dark Wizard, and NHL '94. However, the TV has mostly been used for Grand Theft Auto V and streaming Bob Ross episodes on twitch.

I was more of a Sega Genesis guy but there were still some great games on SNES: Super Mario World, Zelda, F-Zero, Mario Kart, SFII Turbo, and Star Fox. I also played a ton of a crappy football game called Super Play Action Football.

I purchased a Sega classic last year...confirmed annoying lag between controller and game that I do not remember being there. But it has made playing any of the mortal kombat games extra difficult.

Sonic games are legendary of course, but besides that i feel that Sega dont have that much to offer compared to Nintendo.

Re: ***Official "It Lives, It Lives" Chat Thread***

My Dad never taught me to shave. I was far too embarrassed to ask about all that sorta stuff when reaching the awkward puberty stage. So when I started getting annoying peach fuzz I would just sneak his razor from the cabinet and dry shave it off without soap/water/anything. Then one day I forgot to put the razor away and my little baby sister got at it and accidentally cut herself. Mom questioned everyone as to who had left the razor out but I was too embarrassed to come forward. If I recall, soon after that she bought some little plastic razors and left them near my toothbrush.

I was SNES all the way. Great games you mentioned. I was also a big Secret of Mana fan.

From what I remember most Sega Games were just quarter eater type games.

But I liked Bad Dudes and Shinobi.

Was Golden Axe Sega? That game was awesome.
