because of Spike TV, i actually used to love watching Bond movies during xmas.
so much so that my wife got me the 50th anniversary set. unfortunately, this year has been to busy for me to break them out. plus the kiddos are way too young for that.
review/wage increase season has started in my company: is it inappropriate to ask for the average % increase withing my department (~25 people)?
last year my boss gave me average % increase, but i'm pretty sure it was a company wide number (2500 people) but possibly could have been office (150 people). i know for certain it was not my department.
Watched it too many times growing up. I'll watch it if someone requests it or if it's on when flipping channels, but I'll suggest a bunch of others before that one.
Ya'll are too crazy for Christmas. I'm just trying to think up an excuse for why I'm not coming to Christmas. Most likely i'll just shoot a group text that says "I'm not coming to Christmas."
1.) A Christmas Story is horribly overrated.
2.) Bad Santa is the GOAT even though I feel ashamed after watching it.
3.) Elf is just awful.
4.) Pretty sure my generation was traumatized by Nester the Long Eared Donkey and The Little Drummer Boy. Nothing says Merry Christmas like your family dying in front of you.
I've never seen Elf but I've never found that actor guy that's in it to be funny..starting with Night at the Roxbury which is one of my least favorite movies of all time (right up there with Gangs of New York and Teen Wolf Too).
