Mens ski half pipe finals are on. Some amazing tricks are being thrown down. Almost a US sweep but a 16yo new zealander took bronze.

Some amazing fails as well. Ouch.

When I was a kid nobody ever wore a helmet skiing. Wtf were my parents thinking.

Thought cross country skiing had the right idea regarding watchability when they added the guns, but they only shoot at targets?

You're talking biathlon, but yes... They need to redefine "target."

In events completely unrelated to the Olympian topic of discussion;

Totally lost my **** while playing yesterday as I overheard this convo from a "no gamble no future" MAAG seated at the table behind me. The man was upset he lost money betting on the Roy Moore special election.

Feel like a teenager when i miss a certain pokerdealer i have a crush on from my last Vegas trip (sorry guys, dont gonna tell from wich casino and who it is)- and i want to go back instantly so badly.

Real attraction is quite rare, so many turn offs and deal breakers usually. Women being to high on themself and their ego+ being arrogant is one of the most common leaks.
02-22-2018 , 03:18 PM
That goes real quick when they hit ~28 tho.

Also forgetting their name and ignoring them in general goes a long way.

Had a friend a long time ago who treated his gf like ****. When asked why, he told us that that way, when he was decent she'd really be appreciative. It was hard to argue with the results. Although I'm not a fan of women who are generally so lacking in self esteem that bs like that works.
02-22-2018 , 03:33 PM
I mostly post stuff like that facetiously, though the older I get, and the less I care, the more I realize how true it is.

That shoudnt even be neccesary so i totally agree. Like sure, all girls need the man to "put her in her place" from time to time when she gets out of line or being unreasonable for x amount of reasons, but that is something else than being high on yourself, looking down on other decent people and oozing with arrogance.

I dont go close to those kind of girls anyway. Like, i am unable to feel any real connection/attraction if that is the case.

On the other hand, girls that are well grounded (even though they maybe are smoking hot looking), not afraid to being nice and chat with all kinds of people, not afraid to flirt/use their charm in a natural positive way is insanely attractive.

Yeah I mean god forbid people just treat each other respectfully and with some empathy. Your friend sounds like an immature douche-bag...just saying.

Your last line is 100% correct. I truly think you attract what you put out there. IOW if you are a decent respectable person you will attract people who appreciate being treated that way and likely have other areas of their lives locked down pretty solid.

Obv doesn't always work but it certainly beats the exhaustion of purposely ****ting on someone for some game/reason.
02-22-2018 , 03:42 PM
Oh he was most certainly a class A dickbag.
