Congrats on your son - how old is he?

Mr Wrath -

Stop playing MTTs, they are a huge waste of time and money.

Sincerely,

your bankroll

you're definitely correct, albeit I do enjoy the bigger MTTs.

Bankroll is currently 7.6k. Am playing a 2k next week and will then have to start the Rocky music, drop down to 2/3 and mount my comeback.

Or you could try cashing
11-29-2016 , 05:45 PM
Yeah, I say stop with the MTT nonsense and focus on cash next year. Barring a miracle tourney run it looks like this year will be a losing year for you but there's no reason you shouldn't have a nice year in 2017.

Went to Muay Thai last night. Was a great time. Did simple punch and kick sequences. Can't wait to learn to fight and get in shape. I plan to do MT 2-3 times a week for a few months, then maybe add BJJ. Same gym does both. I'm in spectacularly bad shape. Hopefully this will be the motivation to stick with a regimen.

I have to say, it was the worst B.O. I have ever encountered in a large-ish public place. I mean, one guy might smell worse than this, but this was the whole place.

actually cashed a WSOP circuit thing last night - now 3 from 20 this year, but sadly I've cashed the $330 and $500 ones and not the bigger ones. but yes, I'm planning to ship this 2k next week for approx 300k and then I'll head straight to the PCA High Roller

the series has flushed out some massive cash action - there was a 50/100/200 PLO game running last night

Lolz, I have a sneaky suspicion I'm posting in the thread of someone in my player pool. Not sure I want to out myself.

Wow. That's too big.

That's what she said.

Never gets old for me.

For those that care (I know there are like 2 of you). Trooper is having his best month in Vegas thus far.

Spoiler:
He took part in a 100hr over 2 week challenge at MGM. This is a huge number of hours for him. He succeeded and profited in the process.

$3752 profit in the 100 hrs
$300 free roll bonus for completing the 100hrs
$735 profit for cashing the free roll tournament...close to half of the players 74 players cashed for $750. He received double chips for being one of the ~8 players to complete the 100 hours.

Close to $5k in 2 weeks!

You do realize that pretty much this entire thread has met one another IRL except for you right? Some of us have only met half of the chat threaders but if I haven't met someone I've at least met someone that met him/her.

I suggest you and Richard Parker go on a tea party date or something.

I think i've posted that before. I feel like a character in Westworld.

I think most serious players have 4 or 5 buyins for the given game their playing. That's been my experience at least.

West world is great so far.

Trying to finish making a murderer but struggling. Probably 3 episodes too long. Went from incredibly fascinating to just wanting to see the conclusion.

I wasn't a huge fan of that show either. Way overrated.

All the decent TV shows are coming to an end here as the ratings period ends.

We have Netflix, Apple TV and a cable subscription that gives us access to pretty much all the good series of the past 15 years. Need recommendation for a show to watch with wifey

We have watched together and enjoyed....

GoT
Breaking Bad
True Detective 1
Band of Brothers
Friday Night Lights
Mad Men
Misfits
Homeland 1 & 2
House of Cards 1 & 2

I enjoyed but she didn't enjoy....
the Wire
the Sopranos
the West Wing
Prison Break

Neither of us got into...
Lost
Orange is New Black
Subsequent House of Cards, Homeland, TD
Walking Dead
that one with the weird computer guy with the big eyes

Cannot be Sci Fi. Cannot be American Comedy.

Ones I'm considering.....

Ray Donovan
Rectify
Leftovers
6 feet under
Deadwood
Downton Abbey
Oz

Glad to hear your family life is sorted out.

He is 15 months old. So, we're still learning some basics, but it's amazing how fast they pick things up. Watching him learn and adjust his perception of the world around him on a daily basis is still amazing to me.

Downton abbey is ****ing great
11-29-2016 , 10:53 PM
feel I love Oz but I'm not sure it would be your wife's cup of tea
