Ya for sure. I drank about 100-120 ounces of water while working out.

May need to buy a new one but not sure how to baseline it in case my original weigh in was wrong

My grocery bill just now was utterly ridiculous for a one person household

The amount of food I bought is probably for 7-10 days...

Are we playing a guessing game? I'll set the line at 150. In order to set an accurate line I need the store though

If for 10 days not too bad depending on the price of the fish but still high. You did have the privilege of shopping Whole Foods so there is that.

Just had my fajitas over brown rice. So good.

I will lose 7kg/15lb in a month by means of no alcohol, no sugary snacks or drinks, no fries, very few complex carbs and a slight reduction in portion size and overall volume of food

Wifey has given me a macronutrient balanced approach to meals which I will use as a guide, if not to exact amounts.

Will keep exercising in the normal way, which is heavyish weights 4-5 times a week, but intend to walk up and down the 5 flights of stairs to my office a few times a day and also do a 15-20 min walk each lunchtime. Also have a **** load of work to do in my yard over the weekends

Week 1 results

Dropped 3kg (6.6lbs) to 89.3/196.5 which is great, albeit I'd say half of that is 'easy' weight caused by less water etc that always strips when you first drop sugar and carb intake

Basically ate eggs on toast for breakfast after the gym and then meat with vegetables for lunch and dinner. Had 1/2 cup of rice a few times and had an Isagenix protein shake in the evening most days. One cheat meal on Saturday night but that was basically a few pieces of good bread and some home fries with my chicken.

Trained pretty hard at the gym 6 days, drank no alcohol and got through some physical work in my yard yesterday as well as had a few decent bodysurfs

Came into this thinking I needed to lose 15lbs to get my 6 pack back but actually think I still need to drop 15lbs

Side benefits - definitely sleeping better, was more patient with my wife/kids and I was more organised to get house chores done on the weekend

Roommate and gf made same FT last night so another roommate and I got blasted drunk and made a pit stop at McD's on way home so I'm off the rails. Hard reboot tomorrow.

Gonna try something new in crock pot tomorrow.

Friday had 2 healthy meals similar to my every day ones then chinese for lunch

Saturday worked out a lot, 1 plain donut for breakfast , chicken breast (2 oz ) and a spoon peanut butter covered breakfast and lunch. Dinner was a Bbq, had 2.5 beers 1 cheeseburger, small serving of Mac and cheese, small amount of beans, 1 cookie and some chips with guac/salsa/hummus

Sunday- no breakfast or lunch, 70 min climbing, dinner was beef stir fry posted earlier plus 3 oz chicken breast plus 2tbsb hummus and 1/2 avocado

No idea if I lost weight but I definitely feel a lot better. My jeans are already fitting much better.

I've been chugging tons of water this week so it's likely I haven't lost net very many lbs but carrying more water weight

Plan to get weight for week 2 tomorrow morning if the scale is cooperatinng

Day 7 log and week 1 results:

Weight: 238.1

Total loss: 6.3 lbs

Meal 7 log:

Today was fat kid day cause father is in town for today and tomorrow.

Meal 1: Cobb salad, grilled chicken, low fat bc dressing

Meal 2: cheese burger, ate half the fries and 3/4's the burger

2 beers

I expect today's exploits to cost me tomorrow. And tomorrow isn't going to be easier cause pa-dukes already mentioned carnegie deli, fml!!!

This week's approach is similar to last weeks; keep calories in check, kick my ass in the gym 5 days and keep the slip ups to a minimum.

Despite eating and drinking like a slob and not being able to go to the gym due to a wonky back, still managed to drop 2.5 lbs.

Back on that horse again, which includes a trip to the doctor tmw to figure out WTF is going on with the back.

Thanks miami, I've got acute sharp pain in my lower back on the left side and what feels like a pulled muscle in the middle part of my back on the left hand side.

I've always had back issues but this is...different. I'm a hypochondriac by nature but I know this isn't in my head. I might be making a mountain out of a molehill.

Probably nothing, but better to be safe than sorry.
