It's 70BB effective in a 5/10 game. A 2/5 game with a straddle is different dynamics than a 5/10. For instance, an open raise at any position in 5/10 is usually 35+10 per limper. The fact that these are 2/5 players changes the dynamic a bit, so you will see people doing weird things like to 50, or opening to 75 over 2 limps, or opening to 20 with spec hands to try to block a raise.
We can push people around a bit more on a straddle because they are more averse to playing big pots without big hands. They don't see that the effective stacks have changed. They just see the dollar value. IMHO
Even in a 70bb eff game, if I can get in for 1BB in position with a great spec hand which has such high felter value with people limping hands like A10 and KQ and stacking off with tp, I think it's a good deal. Though, my image usually helps me get paid.
