Well, if you look at the odds chart I linked, it will tell you how much equity a SD, FD, combo draw, etc. have via how many outs they have.
General rule of thumb is that draws have about 33% equity if they see two cards, half that for one. Therefore if you are betting less than half pot, they are getting the right expressed odds to call one street. If you are betting more than that, they are not, but could make up the difference in implied odds if you're deep enough and will put more into the pot after they hit.
You don't really want to "price them out," though. You want them to call, but pay too much. That's where you make money.
