Villain and hero don't have much history. From small sample:

Villain - Assuming to be competent young reg. Villain value owned himself earlier against a fish by value betting a river quite light. TAG. Stack is 2k

Hero - no real history with villain. Playing TAG and been pretty card dead apart from 1 big squeeze from SB where a flop C-bet took it down. Stack is 2.5k

Early raise to 20, 2 callers and hero calls from CO with A8dd. Villain calls from Btn.

Flop - 107 - 4d 5d 7

Checked to hero who bets 75. Villain calls from Btn and remainder fold.

Turn - 257 - 5

Hero checks, Villain bets 165. Hero calls (???)

River - 587 - 9

Hero checks and Villain bets 450. Hero?

Pretty sure the turn call is bad. Getting less than 2:1 on the call, but you're only hitting ~10% of the time (per the 2+2 rule).

Hitting 10%? Sorry not sure what the 2+2 rule is. I had 13 outs with the gutshot. I dont necessarily disagree about folding turn but seems quite nitty and exploitable, and ill be playing this guy quite a bit in the future. Interested to hear this rule. Thanks for the reply.

12 outs, you counted the 6d twice. Maybe 15 outs if your ace is live.

You could keep the lead and bet the turn, but I don't think I like that very much. It's a bad card to keep the lead because the board paired and all our outs could be dead.

After checking the turn, I think on a forum in analysis it's a fold, but on the felt I probably lol cawl.

I guess c/f river. If you want to bluff the river, I think c/r is better than donking out, but you're basically repping quads and boats and nothing else. The older your opponent, the less I like the idea of bluffing.
