A New Category of Fish? Please confirm. A New Category of Fish? Please confirm.

I'm sure this is old to a lot of people, but for me, I think I've found a new type of fish to eat. Basically, I'm posting looking for confirmation. I'm not sure if I'm just running good or if I've improved my game enough to where I'm a bigger fish in the sea. I'm expecting responses ranging from "duh, we've been feasting on these fish for years" to "you're probably just running good against them".

Anyways, here's the type of player that I'm talking about:

***People that used to crush the $1/$2 games back in 2007 and 2008 but haven't improved since then***

I've found that these are people with some decent fundamentals, but who NEVER work on their game. They found a style of play that crushed in 2008 and just got complacent with it. I think what makes them good to play with is that they're willing to confidently put a lot of chips in the pot and then fold.

There's two people at my local casino that fall into this category. I'm trying to exploit them like this (and have been successful so far):

*I showed them the nuts three or four times.
*Now, they always think I have the nuts and I constantly bluff them out of big pots. They constantly lay down TP and sets against me. If I show any kind of aggression on the turn, they fold. The put $$$ into the pot pre, on the flop, and sometimes on the turn; then they just muck their equity to pressure.

These are the only types of people I ever float the flop with. I do it because I know they're going to c-bet and I know they're going to shut down the turn if they miss. I also know that I can bet any scare card and they will muck. I'm a super tight player and don't bluff very much in general; but these villains reliably fold to bluffs.

Anyone else ever play with this type of V? I've been winning huge chunks of chips of these two former pros and I'm trying to figure out if I've just been running good (or they've been running bad), or if this really is a profitable type of villain.
