This happened to me the other day at the casino and when I was trying to convert the hand to be replayed I wasn't able to adjust any post-flop action. If a short stack goes all in and gets several callers is there to be any post-flop betting or is all betting done and cards flipped up?

How it played out:

A guy goes all in for $16 and a person before me calls, I call with 66, and picks up one more caller after me.

The flop is two 9's and a 7, 2 spades that don't hit me.
I bet $15 and the lady calls.

The turn is a 6h which gives me a full house and exactly what I was hoping to see obviously. I put her on 3 of a kind.

I check, she bets $15, I raise to $30, she goes all in for about for about $120 more. I snap call.

River a 9.

Flip over my now 66999 full house.
Lady shows 10-9 quads.

Just learned what BBV is - but I was mainly questioning how action is supposed to play out. You'd be a horrible mod.

Once a player is all in, that is considered the main pot, and that is all the money the all in player can win. The remaining players can continue to bet and play for more money. Those chips go into whats called a side pot. There can be more than one side pot.

Example. Player A goes all preflop in for $10 and players B,C and D all call. $40 in main pot.

Player B goes all in on the flop for $10, C and D call. There is now a main pot of $40 and a side pot of $30.

On the River player C bets $15 and gets called by D. This goes into a second side pot.

You can only win those pots you put money into. At the showdown, players C and D show. The winner wins the second side pot.

Now Player B shows and the best hand of B, C and D takes the first side pot.

Now player A shows and the best hand takes the main pot.

From the sound of it your hand was dealt correctly.

Okay, thanks for the explanation. If D were to fold on the river would he just hold onto his cards?

If a mod could remove that from the title and move this to BBV that'd be great, thanks.

Yeah I know. He was trying to act cool by showing what he'd do as a mod but they are too drastic and dramatic. Ban? Rly?

not sure if this is serious.... but if you fold on the river, you are out for the main pot.

You probably shouldn't be playing poker for real money in a casino if you don't know the basic rules.

If any player folds, he/she forfeits the ability to win any of the pots*

*unless the player who wins the pot requests to see the folded hand, in which case it is live again.
