Being a beginner, I still can't get around the fact that How Minimum Raise & Maximum Raise are calculated in different variations of Texas Hold'Em.

When I start to grab some facts suddenly different kinds of Bet Action & their impact on Min Raise & Max Raise jumble up my Mind, so I'm looking for a fairly simple explanation about the same

My Queries are:

Lets say the Game is a $5/10 Stake Game:

Query 1. This is Pre-Flop Betting Round, & the Player next to Big Blind Player is Under the Gun(or the one to act). The Blinds in the Pot at this moment are $5(Small Blind) & $10(Big Blind), which makes Pot=$15. Now for this Under the Gun Player, Call will be $10, but what will the Min Raise amount & Max Raise Amount?
Also what will be the Values of Min Raise & Max Raise for next Player, if Under the Gun Player Calls Or Raises?

Query 2: This is Flop/Turn/River Betting Round, & this is the First Opening Bet, then in this case, what will be the Values of Min Raise & Max Raise for Under the Gun Player?
Also what will be the impact on Next Player's Min Raise & Max Raise Values if Under the Gun Player does a Normal Bet, or Raises the Bet

It would be really helpful if somebody can Fill out these details in an explanatory manner for all three kinds of Texas Hold'Em, namely No-Limit, Pot-Limit & Fix-Limit
Or if someone can provide links to some Forum Threads wherein same or very similar situations are explained properly.
It would be of much help

Query one: the minimum raises size is twice the big blind. If anyone just calls the minimum raise is still twice the big blind. Once someone raises, the next minimum raise is twice as much as the first person raised. So if the first raise was to 25, it was a raise of 15, and the next raise would have to be at least 15 more, or 40 total. As for maximum, there is no maximum in No Limit poker. If it is Pot Limit, the size of the pot is figured including the raiser's call. So in my first example, there is 15 from the blinds, 25 from the first raiser, and if the second raiser wants to raise the maximum (aka "pot"), the first 25 of his bet counts as part of the pot, so he can raise 65 more, or 90 total.

For query 2, the minimum bet is equal to the big blind, and the max is either none, or it is the size of the pot before he bets, depending on if it's a No Limit or Pot Limit game

If it is a fixed limit game, then the minimum bet is the same as the big blind preflop and on the flop, and twice that on the turn and the river, and the minimum and maximum raise are exactly the same amounts.

No problem. Sorry for all of the typos. I wrote that on my phone and didn't notice at the time.

Part of the confusion is how fixed limit games are designated in contrast to no limit/pot limit. They look similar, but the 'stakes' actually refer to different things. For example:

4/8 limit (fixed) - $4 is the bet size (both min and max) for the first two rounds (preflop + flop). $8 is the bet size (both min and max) for the last two rounds (turn + river). The small blind is usually half the first number (usually round down for odd stakes - sometimes up) and the big blind is the first number itself. As you can see, there is no 'range' for betting - you bet what the stakes for the game are.

1/2 (or 5/10) no limit - The first number (1 or 5) is the small blind. The second is the big blind. The minimum bet (also minimum raise) is always at least the big blind. The maximum is whatever you or your opponent have left in their stack. However, if someone bet in front of you, the minimum bet becomes whatever he bets, and you must double that if you want to raise. This concept is a little trickier preflop (here's where it gets confusing) - the big blind is considered the first bet, so any increase (raise) from the big blind is the new minimum bet, not the total amount.

Pot limit is similar to no limit, except the maximum is you can bet/raise is the amount in the pot (after all calls). Generally the dealer can figure this out for you.
