is anyone in this thread planning on playing the WSOP marathon event?

any experienced wsop players have any thoughts on the tournament and expectations? does the tournament seem to be good value? any guess as to whether or not the field will attract more rec players or be more "pro" heavy?

Hopefully we decide on an app before I get banned from this site. GroupMe is a huge battery suck as I recall but at least everyone that matters has it.

Ok. Reservation for Chada is set. 7:00 Friday the 23rd. I made it for 12. So far 6 spots are taken: myself, Skip, DCFT, Lapidatrix/tor, and JM3. Tentative spots for Sol, squid/SPC, Garick, pokerodox, FW?
If any of those aren't making it in or don't want the seat, space will be available.

I am not yet planning on coming. Stars would have to align IRT this move. I can still handle adding people to GroupMe, though.

I saw that Tournament of Kings show about 25 years ago. I presume it hasn't changed much, if any. It was super cheesy, but I enjoyed the jousting.

So either I got way better or people got way worse. Games are absurdly good right now compared to last year, I should have plenty of money to ignite in the 1/1
