My 1/3 game was boring. My 2/5 games were soft. My 5/T game was pro heavy. LoL sample size though. Some tables may be great while others may be bad. The reason you are grinding on the east coast may be because the Vegas games have significantly different player pools the other 10.5 months a year. I'd guess that the vast majority of players I played with (outside of 5/T) were once a year Vegas players.
Unfortunately you didn't hit the lottery and get me on your table. My Bellagio 2/5 table was begging me not to leave but I had a flight to catch and they didn't donate enough to my hotel and flight funds to motivate me to stay.
It can be near impossible to game select in Vegas when the big tourneys are going on because the lists get long and the floor people do a terrible job of handling table transfers as they are running about like chickens with their heads cut off.

Fair point i guess. Especially Bellagio is lol packed during the series. But i mean, you still have like 30 other casinos to choose from
I feel like I'm going to go through withdrawal if I don't get some Harrah's Vegas action in this year.
Ironically I'm not a life nit anymore but have a much smaller budget than when I *was* a life nit. ...Or, maybe that makes sense. Anyone have a room they'd be willing to chop over a few days that include the 1/1 game?
In the past during the MillyMaker and Colossus weekends all the casinos get long lists and you just need to choose a poker room and get in a game. They are handling the traffic better than they had in years past but still would expect lists all over.
Although, if you play late nights getting in a game is no problem. I got in around 2am Saturday before Milly Maker and the Vegas poker scene seemed relatively dead.

Seems like everyone in Vegas thinks they are some combo of Gus Hansen and Tom Dwan. I have been 4-bet shoved on by 10 2 off and 85 off this week. I have seen people call off 100 bigs with 24 off. I see people call 3 bets from nitty old ladies with A J off when they weren't the preflop raiser then raise a J high flop and be surprised when woman turns over QQ.
Oh, everyone one of these crappy plays won.
At this point I am convinced $1/$3 at Bellagio is as soft as the games in Philadelphia.
