I find Tuesday morning is the best time to book expedia flights and Wednesday morning is the best time to book southwest flights. (I don't think it makes a difference when you book the hotel)

I'm seeing the same thing for harrahs. Damn resort fees...

Anyone have details in the V poker rate? Is it guaranteed or a shady setup like CET where you can book the room, play the hours, and still are not guaranteed to get the poker room rate.

Anyways, Skippy owes me a beer so I need to attend to collect.

In for the ****show. I have no shame; I'll play at the sloppy seconds table if need be.

Again, CET credit card=platinum? = no resort fees. Don't know if it will work after the first year though.

I was just reading in LVL yesterday that Platinum no longer allows for waiver of CET resort fees.

Would definitely look into it before signing up.

Confirmed no longer waived for platinum and also fees raised to $25/night on all properties.

Thats dumb.

Im looking into longer stay options for like 2.5 - 4 weeks (if i do go to the wsop this year) and even stuff like harrahs seem to approach 1k/week after resort fees. Thinking of just driving there (no idea how long that would take yet lol) and stay somewhere off the strip.

Also it would be fun to rathole meal vouchers at the rio again, hope they got those this year

My goal is to be in Vegas grinding the whole WSOP, so hopefully I will be able to sneak away and join you guys in some debauchery.

Definitely do the meet up, would love to do the 1/1 as long as I'm not final tabling an event so I'm a tentative maybe for that.
