Live low stakes - Oxford/Reading area

Afternoon all,
Just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction, Im a new student at Oxford and don't really know where all the good 0.50/1, 1/2 games are at within an acceptable distance to travel ... Heading to the Vic will rack up too much travelling costs for play once/twice a week. Any one got any ideas where to set up base for regular live play??
Im guessing the nearest games are Reading? Was going to head down to the Grovesnor there tonight, anyone have any experience playing there???

I suggest going over to the Bricks and Mortar forum. They have regional threads which would be more likely to give you a response.
