Would love some feedback on this hand. I don't have a lot of reads on the players and I dont know exactly what the effective stack was, I think it'd be safe to say ~$120. I don't remember the exact suits but I know the 10 on the turn was the 10 of hearts and I think it put 2 hearts on the boar.

Live: .5/1
Hero has KK on the button and raises to $3.
Small blind calls
Big Blind calls.

Flop: 2,3,4 Rainbow ($9)

Small Blind bets $5
Big Blind calls $5
Hero calls $5

Turn: 10 ($24)

Small Blind checks
Big Blind bets $15
Hero ??

I'm really not sure how to think about this hand. The small blind donking the flop made me think he potentially made a straight, it seemed A5 could be in his range and the BB calling made me think he caught some piece of the flop. Looking back I'm wondering if I shouldn't raise the flop. Calling the turn doesn't seem smart with the small blind left to act.

Raise more pre. Like to 4-5. Call turn bet. Just bc villian bets doesn’t mean he has better hand than you. You don’t think villian isn’t double barreling 45 here? Call turn and re evaluate river. You have position. Use it.

Welcome to the forum, OP. Please don't include hand results (including your last action) in your post, as it biases advice. I edited them out.

Is this short-handed? I've very rarely seen a .5/1 hand make it to the button unopened/unlimped in a full game.

Sure, A5 is in SB's range, but so is 45, 34, A2-4s, etc. The donk just tells us that SB likes this flop, not how much. I don't see a point in raising flop in such a WA/WB situation, though.

I'm not going to comment on turn, since I saw results. I'll leave that to others.

The SB play looks like he hit some small piece took a stab OTF got called in two spots and shut it down, SB fires turn with 2 pair or better.
BB figures if you had something real you would have raised flop so now he feels he might have best hand and\or take it down b\c both of you have shown weakness so far.
IMO we cannot fold turn our hand is under represented and we are ahead of all one pair hands. I might consider a raise OTT b/c the BB will call a lot of one pair hands we beat and don't want SB getting proper odds to call if we call, but we must fold if we get shoved on.

Thank you for the feedback and the instruction on not posting hand results. Will keep that in mind for future posts.
