Live 1/3 Stacks are 175 effective

Two limps (from MP and BTN) to hero in SB with KQo. Hero raises to 15. Both limpers call.

Flop is K94r. Hero bets 30. MP calls BTN folds.
(MP appears to be tight passive preflop and loose passive postflop)

Turn 8 (There is now a flush draw on the board. I do not have any of that suit in my hand).

Hero bets 50. MP raises all in for 130 effective. Hero?

Are stacks too shallow to get away from top pair good kicker?

Yes, we're pretty shallow. A great reason not to raise pre.

Pretty standard hand, just bet more on this turn for value and make a bet-call super clean. AP call, you just need ~20% and have it. That requirement would be even lower if you bet 70 ott.

With larger stacks / more difficult opponents / etc. I would typically just limp KQo in the blinds. However, with these smallish stacks, I'm cool with raising because we can simply setup a trivial stack off SPR if we hit TP (and meanwhile nullify the disadvantage of being OOP). I would raise slightly more preflop to make the stack off more trivial (noting that if it takes down 3bbs preflop this is a fairly decent result too).

Thanks to going 3ways, the SPR is a quite small 3.5. We've flopped TP2K. The board isn't drawy. But overall, I'd consider myself committed to all but the nittiest of opponents. So I'd just PSB the flop to shove the turn. You could also go for three small bets to get in stacks by the river, but by the time the river card falls the board may have changed enough (or we're raised, like we are here) that we talk ourselves out of getting the rest of chips in.

It's not a great spot on the turn. We've raised preflop, continued on the flop into 2 opponents, and continued on the turn, and yet a passive player has now raised for stacks. The thing is that we've put in over 1/2 our stack and are thus getting pretty good odds to make the call (you can argue that we've committed ourselves). But it's still a gross spot as most passive players don't ship KJ/KT here (they simply call down). You could argue for a hero fold against some opponents.

Overall: I attempt to make this turn decision much easier by raising to $20 preflop and ~PSBing the flop. This would setup the same turn situation where we would have $95 left in a $180 pot (a trivial shove at this point). If our opponent has sucked out on us paying these amounts, oh well, it's highly unlikely it's going to be profitable for him long term. Setting up the easiest to play situation *might* not be the *most* +EV; however, it will still be +EV, and most likely more +EV than setting up difficult situations for ourselves (which I believe this situation is).
