V1 - Generally a loose but competent player. Has shown several times a willingness to float/continue in big pots with marginal hands or draws, but is generally pretty solid.

V2 - Just sat down, no hand history.

Hero is effective stack at $250

V1 opens to $16 from UTG+2, V2 flats on the button, SB calls, Hero looks down at AT and calls.

Pot $64

Flop comes T94

SB checks, Hero checks, V1 bets $45, V2 raises to $100, SB folds.

Hero??

I'm obviously not loving life here with this action in front of me, and this seems like a pretty bad spot to continue out of position against two opponents, especially given the number of scare cards out there that can hit the turn. At the same time, I don't necessarily think that TPTK is ahead in this spot. Is this just a sigh fold? Is it too spewy to rip it in?

What kind of range do you put V1 on pf? How does ATo compare to that range? What was your plan if you hit TP or the ace?

Unless V1 is an exceptionally aggressive villian (Raising about 20% of hands in the UTG+2) for 1/2, you're better off folding pf.

V1 had been pretty aggressive that night for sure. He was definitely not opening snugly, and was raising reasonably loose and c-betting a lot. Even from UTG +2, he is probably opening most of his suited Ax, KQ-KT, QJ-QT, JT, and a smattering of the lower suited connectors. My Pre-flop plan if I hit TPTK to check raise flop to set up a turn jam, knowing that I would probably he ahead of V1's range (he definitely has KTs, QTs, and JTs here based off of how he was playing, maybe even combinations of some of those hands offsuit, as well as Axhh and Kxhh, and QJ). However, the button raise scares me, even though he might be taking advantage of V1's somewhat loose image.

Fold preflop. Even if V1 is bad enough that you are ahead of his range playing ATo OOP against multiple opponents is not going to be profitable.

As played fold the flop to that action. There are situations where a shove would be the right play but they are the exception. The essentially min raise on the flop is usually super strong, until you know otherwise you have to give V2 a lot of sets and combo draws.
