I'm cool with preflop and would have played it the same way.

Postflop is a little tricky. This was covered in a recent post on how small pockets play great with certain stacks but then when stacks get really big they have a high RIO vs another competent player who is willing to get stacks in. 225 BBs ain't crazy deep, but it ain't shallow.

I'm really torn on flop. On the one hand, I kinda want to play for stacks (so we have to raise) but on the other hand maybe I don't want to play for 225 BB stacks, plus I'm fairly cool with Button coming along / spazzing for us on this fairly drawless board. I think I'm cool with the call.

I hate the turn card. TT just got there as did 97, plus there's a chance we were behind all along. I'm not worried about the backdoor flush draw. I'm also ok with Button still tagging along. I'm ok with stacking off against shorter Button, but I'm not convinced about stacking off against BB who has now again bet into two interested players. I think I'm flatting turn although that certainly seems weak.

ETA: Now knowing how aggro the villain could be, I'm much cooler with a passive calling station line because typically most semi-aggro villains won't call the raise and will give up on their bluffing attempt (and will bluff the river one more time into us). Your specific villian is fairly rare at these tables, imo.

When do we become too deep to raise the flop?

Flop is a standardish c-bet, where he might have connected with the flop weakly with the low part of his range, or he might be betting AKs.

The turn doesn't improve many of those hands to beat us anymore, but it might have given him a flush _draw_. When I thought it put a 3-flush on board, that weighted his betting range OTF towards more flush/combo draws, which then got there on the turn and crushed us. But now I think it gives him more potential draws to semi-bluff spew raise us with now that he might have picked up outs.
i wasn't really asking. if less of what they are betting with is a draw, more of what they are betting with is for value, pretty simple. BB didn't "c-bet" the flop, he donked it. your analysis of the hand is based on how the hand didn't play out, because button was the pfr
