Utg + 1 raises to 11, folds to me on button with AKo and i make it 36, bb gos allin for 67 and utg + one flats. I don't know much about utg as this is one of my first hands at the table. I end up going allin and he calls with KK.

I was a bit alarmed by the flat by utg and considered folding but wasnt sure if that was terrible or not, or if my shuv is terrible.

Sizing is not bad, maybe 40 to really isolate UTG. What was effective stacks?

Depending on effective stacks - if Utg has less than 70bb behind, I'd be happy to jam. If he's got more I think a flat ip is fine, evaluating the flop.

If he flats a 4b, this is generally pretty nutted (JJ+, AK) in a low stake game. I'd be equally happy finding a fold or a call here, evaluating the flop.

Personally I'd be calling and looking to bink.

id 3bet smaller pre unless i was also 3betting a lot of non premium hands too which i generally dont do playing live. its costing you 29 to close the action and there is like 160 out there??? do you think utg+1 is going to call an all in with AQ or worse? i wouldn't expect it. be happy he didnt jam and just call. jam on flops with an A or K and fold otherwise.
