Lol. Hopefully the tone of that part of the post indicated I was being facetious, including the “(imho).”

Yes this is a tactic employed by many old time regs. For one they are trying to bully you into playing a looser hand range and for 2 they are trying to appear like they are more action than they actually are. If I was a tight player and a tight reg was trying to blow up my spot then I would blow up their spot right back. Sure, it would be bad for the game in the short term but in the long run they would learn their lesson and keep their mouth shut.

we're talking about keeping a Jovial mood at the poker table
fish/recs/regs/and pros go to get away from that of which you spout.

you got serious tilt issues if you can't see the difference.

I agree yelling, swearing throwing cards etc 100% goes beyond and address it
but come on
NIT
little red riding hood
donkey
fish
nice hand
you called with that?

I guess it is a matter of sensitivity on your part, but I wouldn't have taken offense to what he said at all. In fact I would have made a joke about it to keep the table light whenever I could have. Something like "Look out, here comes LRRH into the pot!" when I raised or something.

I was called a slow-roller this past weekend when i took maybe 20 seconds considering calling a river shove of $500 with TT on a board of T4222 from the SB who called my raise pre, check/called flop, led pot on turn and shoved river. I protested a bit as I was just working back through the hand to determine the likelihood of quads, but multiple players said they would have been pissed if it were them versus me.

Anyway, long story short, I used it the rest of the day in an off-hand way and everyone was laughing about it within like 30 minutes.

I guess my advice would be...don't really give a rat's azz about what people say about you at the table and use that to your advantage whenever possible.

This really shouldn’t bother you.

Try - “I’m still busy counting those chips you donated me.

Make a hee-haw donkey sound afterward for added effect.

Lol, awesome.

Best thing I ever saw was in Vegas...older Asian lady called raise pre, called PSB on flop and Turn and then when guy shoved river, she stood up yelled "DONKEY CALL, Hee-Haw Hee Haw" and pushed her chips in. Of course she won with like 4th pair. Put the guy on hyper tilt but the rest of the table had a huge laugh!
