$1-3 NL, mid 30's grinder ,
Hero has been at table for 1 orbit , got it up to about $600, playing tag, in the BB with KK

Villian utg+2, young Asian grinder , $700, has solid tag image ,

Preflop: utg +2 opens for $8, there are 2 other callers ,
We look down at kk 3b to $40, V utg+2 calls, heads up to the flop, a note : standard opening in this game was between $15-20, his $8 open I find hard to read as he also knows the standard opening sizes,

Flop pot ($96) : 539 rainbow, I lead for $50, V calls
Turn ($196) : 5 , I check, v bets $120, I call, i checked mainly to pot control but also I feel I can induce here,
River 10, no flush possibilities, hero ?
-Should this be a lead majority of the time and if leading what should my sizing be to get a call against a thinking reg,
- what does my range look like if leading river in your opinion ?
- should the river be a bet fold line ?
- is x/c on the river leaving money on the table ? I feel he checks back all his one pair hands JJ or less , and maybe even QQ he may check back after my turn call,
- is there more merit to check river to induce again if v's turn sizing is much smaller say $75ish or less ,

Thanks
Adummmmm

You have gotten 2 streets of value with a 2 street hand. I dont think V will put in much more $ with worse. Im checking the river to see what he does.

If he’s actually a thinking lag I don’t think you should be bet/folding a hand high up in your distribution on a board that’s bad for your range. The best reason to bet would be if you think you can induce after checking turn and then calling it off. You don’t have many nutted hands on this board and he has plenty.

Seems like a check call.

I think the turn check is fine. He doesn’t have a lot of aces in his range at this point, so it’s hard for him to improve if he’s behind you. When he bets the turn, you’re way ahead of his one-pair hands like 66-JJ and 89s, 9Ts. And you’re way behind flopped sets and 45s, 56s.

I would check/evaluate on the river. Betting seems bad. He shouldn’t call you with any if his 9s or pocket pairs, since what could you have that he beats? You’re not getting to the river after this action with ace high.

If you think he would turn a one-pair hand into a bluff here, then it’s a check/call. But that’s rare at these levels, since everyone is showdown happy. So I would probably check/fold the river, expecting him to check back a lot of the time.

It would be pretty sick for him to shove a pair as a bluff, but I agree that it's unlikely. I could see bet/folding small to get a crying call from QQ or JJ, or checking and calling/folding bet on sizing.
