But it sucks to be up against KK in this spot and not get stacks in.. so I don't see how else to play the hand?
I've had moderate success just raising the flop and hoping villain levels himself and thinks I'm playing back on a flop that misses his range a lot.

I'm somewhat laggy thought, if you have the image of a nit you ain't getting paid.

Recent example : I call a tag 3bet with 88 OOP 3 way, flop KK8, 3bettor cbet, other dude fold, I chk/r 3times his cbet amount, he ships it with AA.

This guy is usually not THAT bad, I was expecting KQ+ 100% of the time but my image and the fact he knew I could take stabs, he leveled himself and made an incorect adjustment.

So you always just c/r this OOP? Never donking pot or something?

The only times I donk bet the flop is if the pot is multiway, I have an absolute monster and with loose fish between me and the pfr.

Maybe I should incorporate it more HU, I do think it's something I underuse.

More like the opposite for me. C/R with absolute monster is something I believe looks super strong and gets lots to fold which would otherwise call/raise your donk bet. Surprised you've had success with it though. More due to your laggy image if anything.

Surely my image has a lot to do with it.

I play mostly in 2 underground games that run almost everyday, in 1 I'm a spewtard, the other the nittiest nit. Nobody ever folds to me in the first. Ever. Sigh

Posters are correct. I don't like a jam line as played. I didn't realize how deep we were. But I stand behind the rest of my posts, and my preferred line to donk pot sized.
