Villain is pretty old and plays tightish. Smart player thou.
1-2 nl
I have Q6dd on button and raise to 15 after 4 ppl limp. Getting bored that's why I raised
But my image is somewhat tight.
Villain calls as well as one other player.
My stack is around 140 and Villian is the same.
Flop is 884 rainbow. Villain and other player checks and I bet 30.
Villian calls hesitantly and other player folds. I'm putting villain on a pair of tens or aroud there.
Turn is A. Villian checks, and hero goes all in for 100.

Pf is not +EV...but you already know that. Good flop for c betting and firing multiple barrels. Turn is the best card in the deck for bluffing. A PSB is overkill but given stacks I guess it´s alright.
Pf is really terrible given the short stacks.

Looks kind of spewy to me. I am not sure which to believe however, your title (describing an old nit) or op (where villain is "tightish.) I think the connotation is integral to the play of this hand.
Pre-flop, I don't think that you are deep enough to raise a hand like Q6, so I would say fold pre-flop. Once you get to the flop, I would probably do similarly to you and bet 35-40. I think that once you get called otf, villain is going to showdown most of the time. However, I think that the Ace is a good card to come off for you. villain probably isn't peeling the flop w/ AK-AJ type of hands.
IMO, with the villain making it to the turn, I would assess his range at KK-44.

You got yourself in a bad situation. Bored play tends to do that. Flop is OK but with 3 callers and a hand with little equity you should just give up some of the time.
On turn, if villain is actually nitty you should have enough FE to make this work. If villain is thinking though he will realize there is no reason to shove if you actually had a hand. The board is very dry, if you had a real hand you would be trying to keep villain in and not shove.

If the other player is weak tight, what's wrong with calling preflop to steal on the flop/turn if the situation presents itself? A couple of books talk about playing almost anything on the button if you have the right reads, image, and ability.

Ok thanks.
Yeah, two short of a stack to normally raise that pre.
I felt the ace was the best card in the deck to barrel at and he showed up with aj and called

Raising Q6 (total garbage) just because your bored is a big leak in your game OP.
Your preflop mistake also very often leads to spewing off alot more money postflop, as seems to maybe be the case in this hand- because your painted yourself into a corner when juicing up the pot with trash and feels compelled to firing big bets to get out of the mess you created.
Its like a dominoeffect, when you push the first piece it just keeps going.Just fold pre and you would have avoided this whole situation.
