1-2$ local casino. Villian (SB) is TAG, but we don't have much history. My image seemed to V is TAG

Folded to hero (MP), raise to 7$ (standard). Only Villian calls.

Flop (16$): 9h9s5d

V check, I bet 9$, V calls

Turn (34$): 9h9s5d9c

V check, I bet 18$, V calls
At this point I'm pretty sure V has some kind of pocket pair.

River (80$): 9h9s5d9c3c

V check, hero checks.

Is there a place for thin value there? Don't see any worse hand than mine calling

Looks good. I'd raise and bet larger, perhaps your game is tighter.

Not sure what villain is calling flop and turn with. Only reason to bet is to try to fold out better hands, and I think you are too strong to turn into a bluff. Villain is likely not folding any better hands to anything other than an overbet, and may call an overbet anyway. Only worse hands that call is 5x or 3x, and not much in range there. Looks fine to me. Maybe you lost some thin value to a hand like A5, but nothing to lose sleep over.

I like a stop n go line here - bet flop, check back turn, and then bet like 25 otr hoping to get looked up by a 5 or A high.

Also - shouldn't pot otr be 70 not 80?
