2/5 typical loose table. Hero has been at the table for 5 hours at the table and has been running really well. Villain 1 is a complete donkey. Plays 80% of hands. Calls raises and 3 bets of any amount with any two suited cards(saw him call a $35 raise oop with T2s) he stacked me at the beginning of my session when he called a 3 bet with KTs and got it in on flop with a flush draw against my top set. His stack has gone from $2500 to $300 and everywhere inbetween. Villain 2 is a complete unknown. He has been at the table for an orbit.

Hero bb $2400
Villain 1 utg+1 $800
Villain 2 hj $450

Utg raises to $20
Villain 1&2 call
Hero calls with 22

Flop(80) Th2s8s
Hero checks
OR checks
Villain 1 bets $40
Villain 2 calls $40
Hero raises to $165
OR folds
Villains 1 & 2 call

Turn(575)
Th2s8sTd
Hero bets $250

Thoughts?

I like your line very much, especially the half pot bet on the turn. For several reasons.

1) You dont want to check here, and see it checks around. You want to build a pot, setting up a nice big riverbet.

2) You want your opponents keep drawing to their flush and straight "outs", wich is of course no good any longer if they hit. We want to size our bet here to give our villains a good drawing price in their minds, we dont want to give them good reasons to fold.

3) Very possible that one of the villains has turned trip tens and is raising the turn for you (possibly afraid that you are on a draw), and your loving life

Somebody should have a Ten and will bet if checked to.

I'm c/r.

I dont like that to be honest. Check raising both the flop AND the turn is an incredibly strong line, and in worst case scenario it looks so strong that we make our villains making their once in a session hero fold-wich would truly be a disaster in this hand when we want fat value with our boat. Not to mention if the turn gets checked around, wich make sure we lose lots of value.

We have the iniative after the flop check raise, and we can leave it to our villains to keep guessing on the turn if we have a made hand or a draw at this point.

I don't like that. Double check raise looks insanely strong and would make it was for a ten to fold. If one of them has a ten, then they aren't folding after calling the flop so my bet should set them up for a shove or a least a call

this, but i lead out for 70% pot against these fish

c/r will make them fold their gutshots and 66 that they call with or bet with but fold to c/r

if you lead they will station you off usually, or even better get raised and let you get it in

lead out 70% pot

Very interesting to see what the unknown V2 has here. I know it's only 1 orbit but did you have any reads at all what V2 might have? He called the PF raise in MP, called the bet from V1 OTF, then called the reraise OTF for > third of his stack after V1 had called your reraise. The only thing he has is position.

Definitely want to play for stacks with V1, but V2's play is very fishy (as in suspicious). Chap is either very passive, or setting a trap himself.

250 OTT looks ok, something closer to 300 might be even better

250 is perfect. Charges draws perfectly and tens are getting it in regardless

They both folded. One folded As6s face up and donkey claimed to have had a flush draw as well
