Now you're just mashing buttons. Take the last 51 closing prices of a stock and try to predict the next one. Now show me 51 cards from a 52 card deck and ask me to predict the 52nd card.

Locked.

I don't know how to quote these things. But yeah, what venice said is completely irrelevant. You only ever see 7 cards max and the variance in poker is normally distributed (assuming perfect poker)

Please don't post completely false or misleading information for the readers

Also we're not trying to predict anything, we're talking about deviations from the expected.

Oh, and btw, I have worked on just that, predicting stock prices. And for your benefit, assuming standard normal distribution is a ****ty assumption based on past history. I hope you're not in charge of anything major

You don't already know about not re-posting that which the mods have closed?

Really...? Nope....unaware. But since what he said was so false and misleading, I just thought I needed to comment so ppl don't have the wrong idea and believe something that's false.

Also, I don't see why there shouldn't be a thread where ppl can talk about LAG strategy. This is a poker forum right?

Apparently not.

There are many threads in this forum that discuss LAG play. The thread that was closed had little to do with actual LAG play, but more theory.
