Hey guys, just got home. Great start but got card dead in the middle, unfortunate. Was a lot of fun. Not as much action as I thought it would be. Table broke right after the broadcast ended. I was pretty tired at the end of it.

Edit: Watching the broadcast now. FWIW, the reason I was staring at the camera was the TV was behind it. I was watching the Angel game.

One kinda by me, but a few from the other players bluffing. Nothing too major IMO. Wow, didn't notice how card dead I was. Good thing the game and my chatter distracted me.

I wasn't able to watch live, but will probably check it out later today... Did Greg Dinkin give any terrible advice?

Greg Dinkin wasn't the commentator. The commentating team was pretty solid IMO.

Didnt you claim that you are the nerdiest person in the thread once?

You looked way less nerdy than that claim imo.

We had a lengthy discussion about the cap.

Thanks! I didn't make that claim though.

Bored at work, just watched the youtube link, thanks for posting it.

Too bad you were so card dead but you made the most of it.

Ha, I'm weak so I probably fold the KQs from the blinds to the 3bet, but you obviously picked up on what was going on, nice.

Thought the flopped set against you missed a lot of value by not betting the river. With the 4-card-straight out there (and I believe a busted flush draw, I can't remember?), it would have perhaps looked bluffy. Do you recall what your plan was going to be facing a river bet? Way too get out losing the minimum on that one.

Don't think I've ever seen anyone use car keys as a card protector, and weird rule allowing you to play out of a rack (which I only do on my last orbit as a polite way of letting people know I'm not hit-and-running if I stack them).

^ A guy last weekend didn't use his car keys as a protector, but had his Mercedes keys on the table, he was also wearing an Armani watch. Why am I telling you this? About 6 weeks ago I was using my free slot play and he saw me down there and asked me for $1.

Yea I was going to make a detailed post about the hands I played. It's important to pay attention and talk to the players to get information. You saw that I was talking a lot to the players. I noticed the two players, Lance and Fabian getting into some meta war with each other and I made a comment, "He doesn't like you does he?" to Lance. The guy to my immediate right said, "Yea they've done this before, only they were switched. I pegged them earlier as looser players that are positionally aware, so I thought to myself I can most likely 4 bet them light and get away with it. Obviously I was card dead for most of the night so the situation didn't arise very often.

The AK vs 55 hand, when he donked against 3 other players, I immediately ruled out top pair in his range as he wasn't that type of player to donk bet into 3 others with just top pair. I basically knew I was either barely ahead or well behind, as I pegged him either he had a big draw or a set. I essentially used position to get to showdown as cheap as possible. If the river was a blank, I probably would've called as I would've put him down on a broken draw. If he bet out river, I would've folded because he can easily have the 6h in his range.

I use my keys as a card protector because of all the BS I've heard that goes down in LA casinos and I'm too cheap and forgetful to buy a card protector. Golden rule of live poker: Always protect your hand until the pot is awarded.
