2/5

stacks
V1 400ish
V2 800
Hero 650

reads
V1 is pretty tight, would say semi-passive will bet out when TP+
V2 is LAG calls wide preflop and chases a lot
Hero view as a bluffing LAG

Preflop
few limps to hero in MP with K10 raise to 40
V2 on button calls
V1 in blinds calls
V3 in EP/MP calls

pot 160ish

Flop
1084

V2 donks out 55
V3 folds
hero ?????

I didn't really know what to do here I know the V1 is not Donking out with a straight draw, so he has TP+, I didn't want to raise as I didn't want to bloat the pot with a average hand but I didn't want to fold cause that seems a little too tight as I did have TP decent kicker plus back door flush draw. If V2 fired again on the turn I was planning on folding.
I looked at V2 and he didn't really seem to interested in the pot so I knew that if I called he wasn't going to squeeze.

Hero calls 55
V2 calls (did ask about how much we playing with so pretty much put him on some kinda draw)

pot 325

Turn is 4

V1 checks
Hero ????

I didn't really know what check meant I can see V1 checking his boat and trying to catch up but I also knew V1 might be worried about someone catching a 4

Hero elect to check
V2 checks

Pot 325

river is Q

V1 bets out 130
hero ????

I just didn't know how to interpret this bet, I really thought he could be better for value here but V1 overvalues 1 pair type of hands and thought he could be good there.
If he had a 10 I was beating them all except 10 8 or 10 Q or A 10 there was also the possibility that he just cold called preflop with JJ.
I really didn't know where I was at.
I really didn't see many hands that I was beating that he would be betting on the river with, is this a easy fold?? or would calling this not be the worst thing in the world???
I didnt think V2 had anything so was not worried about him but against.

How would you of played the hand????

Not a fan of preflop raise. I would have just limped. KT is one of those hands that have reverse implied odds because TPGK is a marginal hand here. AP definitely fold.

On the flop what do you think he was donking with? Was he just trying to steal?

When that 4 comes. I would've taken the opportunity to bet here. Maybe 125 or so.

PF .. fine if you are comfortable with getting away from that hand often.

Flop .. flat is fine. You need to know what V2 is going to do. Are these regs? What would you do with AA here? Flat, Flat, Flat

Turn .. V1 is checking because he is tight and passive .. and the PF raiser called his bet OTF!! I think you really need to bet 'your story' here. You raised PF, you 'know' V2 is on a draw and V1 has given you the green light. You are in a great spot here for the River IP on tight player and in front of 'drawing' hand. If V1 flats and re-donks River its' much easier to fold than it is now AP.

AP .. By checking the Turn you have taken 'over pair' status out of play. Now it's time to decide if you are good against V1 .. problem is that V2 may have a random Q as well. See why we needed to bet the Turn?

Not sure why V1 would bet into a bluffy/LAG on this Flop when he 'knows' you are going to bet out and he may pick up some dead chips from V2 before he raises his JJ/QQ. So I guess we put him on a Tx? Do tight players call $35 with Tx(JT/AT/T9)? Probably not, but they do call with JJ/AQ/AK/QQ.

I don't like the Q ... I don't like that he donked again .. I dont like V2 behind with a random Q either ... I would love to raise here but I'm not sure you have enough credit to do so after you checked Turn AND V1 now has 'not much' behind.

I think I fold ... AT/JJ/QQ ... Can't see AQ/QT .. based on your V1 image .. fold. GL

These are regs that I play with week in week out
so I ended up folding on the river.
V1 said he had J 10 and I am inclined to believe him which is why I wrote this out and see how I could of played the hand better to justify a call on the river
After I thought about it I should of bet the turn just for the fact that if V1 called he would be reluctant to bet the river, if he re-popped me I can get away from hand no problems and I can get a cheap showdown
it would also get rid of V2 of his drawing hands
I went to poker-stove and put his range in that I thought he hand was like 40-60 on the flop and the turn
just ended up taking note about this line he takes and keep an eye on it and try to abuse it later on.

Pre flops think is totally fine. We want to take the initiative and hopefully postion as well.

Flop decision is a flat IMO, we can't expect worse to call a raise on this dry of a board. I am never raising preflop and folding on this flip.

Turn, your put V 2 on a draw and V1 checked to you. You should always be betting the turn. We have the best hand here very often. We need to get value from our hand.

River, with that small of a bet realative to the size of the pot we don have to be good thatboften for the call to be profitable. We are getting better than 4/1 and villans range He is representing is exactly Q10 and maybe A10. I call and expect to be good here way more than 1 out of 4 times.
