Playing $1/$2 for about an hour. Hero has been fairly quiet and tight. No major reads on the two villains. Both middle age Indian guys, seem loose, looking to gamble, but not great players.
Folded to Hero in MP1 with KdQd. Raises it to $10. V1 on the CO raises to $40. V2 in the BB quickly calls.
I figure V1's raising 3-bet range is 99+, AJo, A9s, maybe KJs as well. V2 is looser he seemed like he was looking to gamble.
Pot is $90 and Hero needs to call $30, 3 to 1 odds. I figured HU I'd fold but with the extra caller, I thought the larger pot made it worthwhile.
Is it worth playing or am I putting myself in a nightmare spot?
Really depends on stack sizes. You would want to play this type of hand for its drawing potential in this spot (not really high pair value because you are often dominated). If you aren't deep enough to call for that purpose you should just fold having only invested $10.
Vs the ranges given this is a pretty easy call. But at 1/2, that 3bet range seems a bit optimistic, even for a loose player, and the shorter stacked caller inbetween will diminish our equity as well as take away a bunch of semibluffing opportunities.
You really want to be at least 200bb+ effective in this spot to call vs more traditional ranges.
How wide does this guy need to be before we 4b? Seems awfully close.
Not a bad idea, but we might need folds to make that work. Not sure how many folds these types have. I just want to play pots w these two guys 3b or 2b or whatever.
