KQo poorly played?

New to this game so looking for some advice.

Playing at a table with mostly stacks > Max buy in and only for about an hour so no reads - albeit my reads haven't been great in general.

Im down to last 120ish chips. Raise utg with KQo to 10, reraised utg +2 to 35... I kinda misread my stack size and shoved into the guy and he calls with KK... What's the best option here? I figure I'm not folding KQ but also not sure the best way to play that hand post flop out of position vs a reraise so I kinda just figured try to get it in vs low pair... I guess not much worse is calling the raise tho? Maybe some TT - QQ which I have decent equity vs?

I almos feel like I was read as the player who bets when he has it, folds to pressure, so thought maybe there was a fold in there from hands I'd flop bad vs...

Thanks

Re: KQo poorly played?

IMO, this is more an attitude and stack issue than play per se.

Your post almost reads like you were kinda in desperation/last stand mode. perhaps a little frustrated and tilted. On the hand, you can either limp/fold with KQo - or raise/fold. It's really not a hand to play without initiative or position.

Shoving feels pretty spewy... I suppose you might get a better hand to fold (AQ, small PP).

Fold and wait for a better hand. Your fold will look weak to the table so they may 3! Again when you open jj+ Then just 4! Half your stack and shove any flop

Re: KQo poorly played?

From the sounds of it you're still learning and need to stick to a more basic strategy. KQo is not a raising hand UTG, in a passive game you can play a limping game if you want, raise/fold is ok too depending on table dynamics.

As played, an early position player 3bet an early position open, KQ is never ahead here, and your fold equity is close to zero. Fold and wait for a better spot. Yes maybe you might fold out a small PP, but then how often is UTG+2 3-betting with 44?

Snap fold. Hand plays well only with position.

Don't do a lot of bluffing PF in these games. Players are mostly aware of the odds and even someone with A5 suited will call you about half the time.

Don't be Sisyphus.

Re: KQo poorly played?

Not a big fan of 4bet shoving with this hand at all.
As others have said just sounds like you were desperate, you are never good here at best you are up against JJ everything else has you crushed.
Best to just b/f this one from this position and even then it is table dependent I would be more incline to just fold from utg and just move on.
