2-5 effective 500.
New table, 2nd orbit.
Hero UTG KKhs raise to 20. SB appears to be a loose player calls. BB unknown calls.
(60) Flop Q53ddx.
Check check, Hero bets 40. Sb fold. BB c/r to 110. Hero calls.
(280) Turn 9d
Check check.
(280) Riv Jd.
Bb bets 180.
Hero folds?

Seems kinda hard for bb to have a big diamond here... I was thinking about jamming the riv but it’s kinda hard when we only have 370... gives him
190:830.
Idk if we get him off a set.
How would others play this spot?

4th diamond, I'd let it go.

I also would have been the turn. His flop x/r followed up by a check is just begging for it.

As played, I find a way to fold the river and kick myself for not betting the turn.

This would be a fold even if the jack wasn’t a diamond. Everything gets there. flushes straights, random two pairs and draws with one diamond. I don’t know how this game plays and if 20 is the standard pre flop raise, but I like sizing up my raises in loose games to charge players. That way you can make a play at the pot on earlier streets and your cbet may more frequently generate a fold.

As played a fold is fine. You don’t have the Kd so charging the turn needs to happen even if it’s a smaller 30-40% probe bet. Maybe calling this river down 20-30% of the time vs a known LAG but considering it’s unknown in the 2nd orbit I would save the money and fold since you have no range to put him on and bluffing this river after the preflop and flop bets is a very poor play. Jamming is fine with two combos of AdKx removed vs. a known player but again, not enough info to do anything but fold after checking the turn.
