Ask Mr Ramen if he likes his noodles with a little JAM.

Calling on the flop is a terrible mistake. You don't charge him for draws, and even worse an overcard may turn and kill your action. Or a flush card may come and he may fold a straight draw or pair he would have shipped on the flop. And when a bad card comes and he happily stacks off you're in bad shape. Calling is terrible for your equity and you lose a ton of value. Have to jam and it's not even close.

I'm curious what casino you play at where the average player is so loose you can assign such a wide range to a UTG raise with no reads. I'm certain you're ranging him wayyy too wide if you 'basically have no reads". I assume this was 10 handed?
I've seen people call 3 bets with super wide ranges especially agains the lagtard who just sat down (me).
To assume people in low stakes are playing close to GTO will lead to your consistent amazement at people's actual hands when they get shown down
At the end of the day $40 is not a lot of money for most people and they are certainly not going to be bullied on their UTG open by the FNG spewtard (me)

Right on, this was similar to my thinking there are so many bad turn cards that either improve his hand or scare him off.
