5 handed 2/5 game that just started 20 minutes ago. Villain to my right sat down with $200 and got felted on the fifth hand by jamming an unknown hand into the nuts on the turn. He bought in for another $200 and a few hands later doubled up by getting his flop overbet jam with AA called by Q10 on a 10 high board. Showed down a couple of other overplayed draws and single paired hands. Hero has been pretty tight so far, have not picked up any hands yet.

OTTH

Action folds to V ($475 stack) on the button who raises to $15. Hero ($750) looks down at KK and makes it $50 to go. BB folds and V instantly shoves stack into my face and invokes the mean stare down. Can Hero ever fold here?

Never, mean stare downs always mean weakness from my experience. Also, I recommend 3!ing larger, something like $75-$100. I would say V's most likely hand is AK.

Why would you consider folding given his previous hands?

I'm the nittiest nit I know and I would snap call this. Very hard to fold KK for 100bb and absolutely never vs. the described villain.

Lol at folding
Also, it's been 20m. You've probably seen 5 hands given the described action. You're not playing tight.

Never ever fold here.
Cant be scared of villain only having AA. He also snap jammed which looks like AK a lot.

50 pre is too small

Had a similar spot recently where i 3b to 100 in sb vs btn open and he jammed 750 into with AK into my AA.

Hero can fold if he’s playing with rent money I guess.

Then get up from the table and go do literally anything else besides gamble.

You can only fold here if villains shoving range is AA only. And its not, unless he is an ubernit deluxe. Against 9 out of 10 villains this is an easy stackoff.

You can start to think about doing anything different if you go broke with KK 250 blinds and upwards. For 100 bigs i would waste no time and energy on this spot. Just stackoff, and feel good about it.
