V is some recreational, talkative young guy (looks like fish) who just moved over from a broken table...Stack size: $190, H covers

H raises to 20 OTB over V's limp with KK

Flop (44): 886
V bets 30, H ?

I don't think V ever has an 8 here, his hand seems more like some bluff trying to drive H off. I opt to call because the only bad card for me seems like an A. Also, stacks are shallow.

Turn (104): 2
V bets 45, H ?

Looks like an inconsequential card so H calls again.

River (194): 4
V bets 95, H ?

Again, nothing changed and if V has 57, gg, H calls.

Spoiler:
V shows a crazy 53 for runner runner straight! Are we being results-oriented here because we read him correctly throughout and he was shoving anyway if he didn't bink the river.

P.S. Mods, please don't remove spoiler, since the main question lies there.

Villain can have 8X, though he is more likely to check and let you bet in that case.

The turn underbet should have been the point where you folded or pulled the trigger. His hand looks like a draw or something huge. You can't really call turn and fold river, so you might as well put him in at that point. Unless he is really bad he won't always bluff river, and if he is drawing you might as well charge him what you can.

Personally I liked how you played the hand, especially vs unknown.

Obv he did have 8x in his range. But hand is fine. Turn raise is fine as is a station line to keep his range wide.

Yep I agree with this line. Let him barrel.
