I posted results earlier he had a set 222. I have to disagree as i still think getting it in here is good. spr being under 3 we really cannot fold the overpair. Long run hes loosing $$$ to me when he calls that 3bet pre, even if i stack off to him when he hits his set 100% of the time, and he folds 100% when he whiffs.

If you are the person I think you are. You had Q3 in BB and folded to my 3bet after you check raised on AQ3r board in limped pot.

ANL is right, this is a bet fold. I'd prefer a bet on flop of $180 to $200 as when you start betting close to pot, worse hands may fold a lot. If he really is that stationy, $200+ is great though. Think about your own perceived range. Yeah they can put you on AK but they also have to realize you have JJ+ a lot

Yes this is 100% true. But just because its +ev for you doesn't mean it's optimal. If you can fold when his range is mainly sets and QQ+, it's closer to optimal for you. Money saved is the same as money earned.

Ex....say you have KK and raise to $20 pre against a very very passive station who check calls Tptk and medium overpairs a lot but bets huge with his nutty hands. Eff stacks $150. Flop is T98r. He open shoves $120 into $43. You can call here even if he always has two pairs+ and he will still lose long term in that situation because of his pre flop mistake. Or you can fold flop and not give him action here and he will lose even more money long term since you don't pay him off But he pays you off when he flops a pair to your Kk

I mean if you bet and V shoves I think you have to be beat here, right? Realistically I prolly never fold if I cbet and V shoves BUT there is a strong possibility you are beat. What can he have if he shoves? I don't think he is shoving 54 or 55-JJ..

Honestly I prolly stack off here too but it's certainly a legit chance V has 22-44 56 A5

So I'm guessing you cbet and V shoved and you called?

Until you see him overplay 66-JJ on similar boards, assume you're beat a lot. Sets and AA aren't the only hands that beat you. If he's that loose pre, he could show up with 65, A5s, 42s, 43 a lot

Would help a lot if we had a read that he does/doesn't overplay hands. Without a read of either or it's pretty close since big fish like these overplay more than anyone.

No read that he overplays in the last 2 hours, but certainly seems like the type that does, especiallyn on tilt
