So I'm in this 3/3 live game where villain has me covered. He is on my left.

Profile: He is a somewhat passive fish who likes to call too much. He'll fire the occasional three barrell but doesn't get more advanced than that. Previous history is that I have won most pots where we have battled.

My stack is about 1000 and he got 1200 something. Game has run for 9 hours.

I limp with KK UTG. He makes it 25 and gets three callers. I make it 150 and he calls.

Pot 375
Flop comes QT6.

I bet 125. He calls.

Pot 525
Turn is the J. I check. He bets just under 400. I got about 725 left.

I got the second nut flush draw with the royal and straight flush draw (A/9). Im also thinking I'm winning with a off suite A and 9 some portion of the time.

He's range here should be a) JJ/QJ/JT/AK/K9 and b) all flushes and c) some occasional A9/AJ/AT/AQ with the A of diamonds. The reason for me not thinking he has QQ/TT/66 here is that my read on him as a player would indicate him raising those hands on the flop. I also have the K knowing that he cant have any Kx hands. Wich makes it more likely for him to have more sets, two pairs and smaller flushes. Im also blocking some AK/K9 hands.

I also know he is very likely to run it twice.

Hero??

This. I edited them out.

Why so small on the flop? That's a very wet flop good for getting a lot of value from a passive fish who calls too much.

A good point.

That being said...running good money not important I gamble on the turn and play for all of it. If booking a win is important I would consider a nitty fold. That being said adding more pressure to him on the flop would narrow down his range somewhat and make decisions after easier

I would have bet more on the flop too but AP I shove now.

Vs. description (passive fish who calls too much) it sounds as if you are behind and maybe have two clean outs to win and a few others to chop.

I would have bet more on the flop. As played, I probably make a nitty fold.

I ran this in Equilab and figured out i had about 30 % against villains range (set/two pairs/straights).

I changed my mind about him having any flushes since hes range is somewhat capped against my pf 3bet. Maybe 89s but not likely.

A shove on turn gives me 3 to 1 on my money.
