Four players called a 3bet? Wtf.

Betting $200 and never folding.

Yeah was absurd, I figured 65 may get 1-2 callers. (Softest table I've ever been at 2/4)

I didn't mind as I was IP.

Could you please advise why either would be beneficial?

Edit - I believe I understand why either is beneficial but would like to see if my line of thinking matches yours.

Agreed with betting $200, and shoving turn if called. If anyone shoves flop, you have to call. If you're hoping to take a bet-fold line, bet smaller (like $100).

I was discussing this hand with a friend last night and we discussed the benefits of betting 125 as being you keep in hands like AJ/KJ/QJ possibly although these hands are a very narrow range with 5 callers preflop we could almost assume atleast one person has one of those combinations.

Also by betting 125 you are leaving fold equity should you wish to get away from the hand, which I almost think we can never do on that board if shoved on by one person.

This happens 80% of the time to me. I do this exact same line at 2/5 in my cardroom. Everyone knows im tight. Everyone knows I win. Yet I get 4 callers. I just cbet 200-250 nearly every flop here and expect to take it down ~85% of time at least.

Yeah, the problem with this is that, since we're multiway, there is a chance someone will have a draw and if you lead out $125, lots of decent players will perceive they have some sort of fold equity and can play correctly by shipping their draws.

I don't really see myself folding KK on this board in a 3bet pot (or if you want to think about it more, 39bb stack when you opened for 4.5ishbb preflop) unless some ridiculous action takes place.

just gotta lose that money sometimes

No-one said I lost?

I do agree by making it smaller that will induce draws that we are only marginally ahead of, we do have blockers vs Q10 though

Once we bet $125 into $333, and get shipped on, it's $380 (assuming were covered) to win $1300?

We'd only need 25-30% equity?

I just don't think I can fold in this spot, and I don't want to lay down a great place for draws to call.

Sb had qq while mp had q♣️10♣️

Sorry, was at work. The 125ish was (apparently incorrect, should have been 97ish) so that you could reopen the betting if SS shoved. The 250 (which should have been 195 was just to take SS out of play (whatever he does no longer affects you.

225 was good enough. Although if he really had 226 left (250-65= what?), I would have bet 226.
